Where is Main Square Festival?
The Main Square Festival takes place in the Citadel of Arras, General De Gaulle’s Boulevard, Arras in the Nord - Pas-de-Calais. The area is located in the heart of the city.
The city of Arras is a crossroads in the heart of Europe. It is located halfway between Paris, Brussels and London. There are many ways to come to the city.
Thanks to the following infos, you will be able to choose your best one.
But to be free and easy, without traffic-jam or troubles to park, we encourage you to use public transportation to come to the festival ground.
Getting there by train
Since the beginning of the Main Square Festival, the SNCF has been an efficient partner of the event offering you the best way to come on the festival ground.
By choosing train, you think green and your mind is completely free. No traffic-jam, no problem to park, no danger during your trip !
The Arras train station is served by many trains ( Local and High-speed train). It’s located at about 1 000 meters to the festival site.

- Lille <> Arras : 20 mins (TERGV) / 45 mins (TER)
- Paris <> Arras : 50 mins (TGV)
- Brussels <> Arras (via Lille) : 35 mins (Thalys) + 20 mins (TERGV) / 45 min (TER)
- London <> Arras (via Lille) : 1h 20 mins (Eurostar) + 20 mins (TERGV) / 45 min (TER)
SPECIAL SHUTTLES LILLE <> ARRAS
TER offers round trips from Lille to Arras at very low prices . Special shuttles are set each night after the shows :
- Pass TER 1 day = 6 Euros
- Pass TER 3 days = 15 Euros
These tickets will be available at cashdesks in train stations around Lille and Arras from May 29th until July 1st.

o Take Motorway A1 and follow Lille
o Take exit n°15 to Arras.

o Arriving at Arras, follow the arrowed course to the festival area or to the car-parks.
From Lille to Arras
o Take Motorway A1 and follow Paris
o Take exit n°16 and follow « Arras-Centre ».
o Follow « Arras » on D950
o Arriving at Arras, follow the arrowed course to the festival area or to the car-parks.

Getting there by plane
Lille – Lesquin Airport
Located in the south of Lille, this airport is at 45 km from Arras. It welcomes many flights (regular and low-cost) from a,d to many cities accross Europe.
